MARIO, THE [DISCUSS THIS COMIC] LINK FOR EPISODE 301 ON THE ZELDA COMIC HOME PAGE LNKS TO THE EPISODE 300 THREAD, AND WORSE THEN THAT I DON'T HAVE PHOTOSHOP SO I CANT USE THE KASUTO SPRITE SHEET.

THE DROP SHADOWS WERE NECESSARY TO PREVENT SOME SPRITES FROM BLENDING INTO THE BACKGROUND. PIT'S SKIN, FOR EXAMPLE, WAS THE SAME COLOR AS SOME BUILDINGS IN ZELDA II, SO I NEEDED TO KEEP HIS FACE FROM DISAPPEARING. AFTER AWHILE I PUT THEM ON ALL FOREGROUND OBJECTS FOR CONSISTENCY'S SAKE. MY FAVORITE SOLUTION IS TO PUT BLACK OUTLINES ON ALL MY NEW SPRITES, BUT OBVIOUSLY THAT ISN'T AN OPTION FOR THE ORIGINAL NES IMAGERY.
