"cow" is the common name for a domestic bovine animal regardless of sex. kids don't call them "cattle".
those are horns you see there. the lack of udders should have also been a clue as to apple cow's masculine gender. then again, i've seen some of my childhood drawings containing both udders and horns. i blame birdo for screwing with my conceptions of visual external gender identifiers at an impressionable stage.

thing? i think he's supposed to be in the middle of eating it, since he's got an open mouth directly adjacent to it. as i understand it (at least from observing the handful of samples i'm using for the comic), kid drawings don't usually overlap distinct objects.
i'm not seeing a thing.

Well I fell into prison about a quarter to three, when I found in my cell a glass waiting for me. So I filled what was empty and I pulled up a stool, but he stood in the corner. The ol' devil wouldn't move! He said, "You drink when you're lonely." No, I drink when I want! He said, "You'll never be sober." Sure, why would I want that? I only drink to be merry, but unfortunatlyyyy... I'm in the wrong prison cell and the wrong companyyyy! D: |
