And thus concludes the Dead series.
I enjoyed this movie, it had a whole bunch of stand-out stuff. Like when the leader zombie gets the jackhammer and has monkey-like delight about it. Then he gets that kicked puppy look when it stops. Classic. In conclusion: Zombie movies rock.

It's the only Romero zombie movie where you don't know who's going to survive 'till the end because the only black guy with a major role was already dead when the movie started.

I was excited about this movie because Dennis Hopper was in it, and he didn't disappoint. He's a master of belting out cheesy one-liners. I was hoping he'd give us a "pop quiz, hotshot!", but alas.
It occurred to me that Dennis Hopper was the only character in the entire series to refer to the undead as zombies. |

I'm pretty sure the z-word was mentioned at least once in the original Dawn of the Dead.
