  • Good call. Somebody should make a sky pirate movie. That'd have the potential for serious badassery. Back to horror again today with The Collector. It's pretty creepy and builds tension really well. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=EE1sL7QWL5c
  • Did anybody else manage to catch You're Next at the cinemas? I just saw this last night. One of the best home-invasion movies I've seen in forever. The excellent reactions of the family once they're in panic mode, the sheer brutality and some hilariously creative kills make for an incredibly satisfactory slasher. Even…
  • It's a ballsy plan, but it might just work. So today is apparently International Talk Like A Pirate day. Soooooo.... Pirate movies! Yellowbeard! https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=PqZ7DZSXmoo And to cover all bases: Space Pirates in The Ice Pirates https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=7AJsXMIPeqM
  • Stoner comedy time with High School. Ludicrous concept, over-the-top characters and another excellent performance by Adrien Brody as 'Psycho Ed'. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=LS98A1Y7d8s
  • Today we have The Brothers Bloom. An odd little caper-comedy with an amazing cast. It does really well to keep you guessing all the way through and it has a very satisfying ending. Also Adrien Brody should be in more movies, he is a spectacular actor. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=8HPXfmqIy-4
  • Ditto. But with a hobo beard.
  • Ronal the Barbarian https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=MYdpCccFRzc
  • Clowns just want a little love. And a whole lotta murder. Today we have The Brass Teapot. A couple acquires the titular brass teapot, which will dispense cash when you hurt yourself. Surely nothing could go wrong there. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=g30KBZ4m61Y
  • Back to horror. Stitches, the delightful tale of a vengeful undead clown. Played admirably by Ross Noble (thus far, mainly known for his stand-up comedy) and featuring some of the most creative kills I've seen in a long time. This movie is pure fun. Unless you're afraid of clowns, I guess.…
  • You might like to add Out Cold to the list. Starring Jeremy London, David Koechner, Zach Galifianakis and a bunch of people that you will probably recognise. A movie that will teach you the lessons that all problems in life can be solved via partying and shenanigans. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=4_7nVDz0tUE
  • Voodoo.
  • You like that, huh? In that case enjoy Airborne. Rollerblading to prove your worth as a person. Featuring Seth Green as tiny and weird. As well as some early Jack Black. This movie is a spectacular example of early 90's WTFness. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Mz2CMDCD3WQ
  • Today we get Christian Slater solving the murder of his adopted brother via skateboarding. Gleaming the Cube, because 1989. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=yviIgIDxlwc
  • Kickin' shit, yeah!
  • I'm going to install TF2 today and I should be able to grab a copy of Left 4 Dead 2 when I get paid again next week. Other than that, I would heartily recommend Payday 2 to everyone.
  • Yeah, it was pretty bad. But it's pretty much the only one I could find. What you also don't get from that trailer is the awesome/terrible dialogue. Time for another weird indie movie. Pirates of The Great Salt Lake. This movie is really weird in parts. Also a lot darker than the trailer would suggest. I liked it though.…
  • I could go for a new name.
  • Heading back to 1985 for the classic film The Last Dragon. This movie is.... pretty unique. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=7H7iemtCQXQ
  • No dramas, I'll just rename this one.
  • Changing gears a bit today. Check out Matthew Lillard's Fat Kid Rules the World. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=d-SQ0pgjXm0
  • Today we have the recently released Bad Milo. Butt demon insanity ahoy! Featuring Peter Stormare as being awesome. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=dknb76qw0Oo
  • Now that zombie week is over I'll segue into another Kiwi film. This time Fresh Meat, an insane hostage/cannibalism comedy featuring Jango Fett. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=XxG8Rz1GHFc
  • I've added everybody to steam from here that I could see. Currently I'm playing Payday 2, which is badass. Soon I'll be getting Guns of Icarus as well, which also looks to be good fun.
  • Zombie movie day 7! Going with another zombie comedy - Last of the Living. It was made in New Zealand, so the accents inherently make it funnier. All round good zombie flick, with a surprisingly dark ending considering the general tone of the rest of the movie. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=wPq5DgZ1t7o Oh yeah, this week…
  • Little Mermaid game, you referenced Jamie Hynemann as one of the bosses. What with being a walrus and such. Around the 9 minute mark.
  • I'm kinda bummed that I missed out on the Chip 'n' Dale game as a kid. Good stuff as usual. Excellent work with the Mythbusters reference.
  • They're playing pretty fast and loose with the definition of 'zombie' there. I'm seeing a lot of demon movies. And Frankenhooker? I don't think so. Pretty interesting list though. I've only skimmed part of it so far, and other than having watched way too many movies, I'm finding some new names to look into.
  • I'm for it. I've enjoyed all of the Megaman games that I've played. The concept art looks purty too.
  • I could probably go for a full month of watchable ones. Several years worth of terrible.... Redneck Zombies anyone? Or Special Dead?
