That was in the days when I thought computers ran on magic and the internet was some program running on a server in a building in the middle of America.

From what I've read, there's no plans for a physical copy. Perhaps they'll keep records of who owns rights to the game. Perhaps not. As for distribution through Steam, they haven't said they were going to do it, but they haven't said they weren't.

You know, last night I watched Dan in Real Life, and I just can't see anything wrong with the world anymore. Jake, seriously dude, I'm not being sarcastic. At least...I don't think I am? I don't even know anymore. :[ I hope we all learned something about everyone else's beliefs here! I know I did.
-
It won't snow in Florida! AGH.
-
Why are you so adamant about pushing your beliefs on everybody? EDIT OF: Scratch that, because that's what I'm trying to do myself is push my beliefs. I guess what I mean is, why do you find human death so horrible?
-
I'm not asking you to understand them at all! Just don't say they're wrong!
-
I would have LOVED to read that, actually. I feel I know less than 1% of anything. Could you...could you retype it please?
-
I love you.
-
But what about murder of the SOUL? That would be more wrong.
-
Exactly exactly, Behemoth! It's as simple as ignoring them. Look, X, would you want someone to be punished if they murdered a family member of yours? I'm not even going as extreme as capital punishment. Would you agree that an act such as murder deserves at least jail time? I hope you answered, "Yes." If you did not, let's…

OMG OMG OMG!
-
Oh heck no! I'm all for mass genocide in the whole country if she ends up being put to death. I'm just saying it'd be rude to try to change their beliefs.
-
I downloaded the wrong .iso file! I downloaded the one for the "alpha architecture" when I needed the one for the "i386" architecture. Don't make the same mistake! Bruce called me a tit!
-
Perhaps...perhaps I burned it at too fast of a speed.
-
This is how the Sudanese people wish to live. I can't tell you how relieved I am right now that none of you naysayers have the influence required to force your imperialist dogma down their throats.
-
So now I downloaded the .iso image, burned it to a CD (the correct way, there's not just one big .iso image sitting on the CD), but my computer won't recognize it as bootable. My computer will boot off my XP CD no problem. Is this a problem in my hardware or is something missing from the disk?

Nuking data is half the fun! Thanks for the safety tips folks, but I think I'm going to do this the dangerous way. I don't really have any data worth saving anyway, except for my Portal save file.

Only a dual-booted Ron Paul. Also, I'm not installing Linux for ease of use, I'm installing it to become more intimate with Unix. I will rape boot.ini.

I'm sorry, I didn't type clearly. I wasn't asking who has the right to say whether a separation of church and state is inferior or superior for themselves, I was asking who as the right to say whether a separation of church and state is inferior or superior for other people. ^---fixed
-
Seems like the Sudanese people genuinely believe church and state should be merged. That's fine by me, because who's to say a separation thereof is superior?

http://www.tfot.info/pod/1057/omnitread-snake-shaped-robot.html Article about OmniTread, a sweet-looking snake-like robot. While the article says it's now able to actually climb up electrical conduits and water pipes (as in a building's plenum space *coughspybotcough*) I think it sounds a bit too loud to go fully unnoticed…
