The truth finally comes out!

But do they have cake?

Why is Canada never on these lists?

It's the player's fault for putting their reserved column in the centre of the playing field, thus leaving him with two small spaces to fill instead of one large one. Leaving a recessed corner to the reserved column, thus preparing a space for an L-block to be placed for a triple in an emergency while still leaving the…

Technically, Canada's healthcare system isn't managed by the Canadian government. While it's mandated and partially funded at the federal level, the actual administration of the system is left to the individual provinces. Perhaps a similar system could work in the US?

Wow. A lot of people had sex in early March.

Have you ever heard of a single example of someone haggling for a better price with a doctor or dentist and actually getting one? And if you find a dentist that's willing to do the job for a substantially lower price, what if he's only willing to do so because he sucks at his job? It's not like you can return your mouth…

There are 72 ninja presents in that picture, however you can't see any of them. 'Cause they're ninjas. The presents you can see are not ninja presents.

Arrest made in helicopter laser attacks Unfortunately, the actual article doesn't quite live up to the awesomeness of that title, but I think the headline alone is enough to warrant its inclusion in this thread.

Damn, even Canada doesn't have it that good. Our socialist healthcare system doesn't cover teeth, unfortunately. Just yet another argument to go for a full-on Communist system, right comrades?

The rest of the article is here.

It's the shitty version of Americorps that was made after Americorps XP. Should've waited for Americorps 7.

diguana@gmail.com if you still have any left. Still not sure what Google Wave actually is, but it couldn't hurt to try it. Well, I don't think it would hurt to try it, at least. I've been wrong before.

That was... beautiful.

And I'm reasonably proficient in French, which is close enough to Spanish that I can sometimes make sense of it in written form (not when spoken, though. The pronunciation's way off.)

If we implement something like that here we'll have to modify it so that it accepts "Negative, I am a meat popsicle" as a valid answer.

Lipstick32 and doie48904 have been spamming up a storm lately, with sexyl0angel06 looking like it's going to follow. Can vBulletin be set up to hold any new user with a number in his/her name for manual approval before granting posting privileges? That would likely cut the spam down quite a bit. And I still stand by my…

You say that as if it were a bad thing.

And proud of it.

Makes me glad to live in a country where wait times are determined by the severity of the condition rather than how much you can pay.

TRULY THE HUMAN BRAIN IS INTRINSICALLY WIRED TO OBSERVE ALL-CAPS DAY, AND ANY ATTEMPT TO DISSUADE PEOPLE FROM DOING SUCH IS FUTILE.

Don't you know your Freud? Everything has something to do with penises. Or your mom. Or your mom's penis. Which is probably why you needed to see a psychiatrist in the first place.

But when is "now"? "Now" from the perspective of the spambot author, who was doubtlessly writing that word long before the message arrived in your PM box? "Now" from the perspective of the spambot itself? "Now" from your perspective, reading the title (although you would still not be able to read the actual message until…

That's when your palm flower turns black and you have to report to the sleepshop.

And unfortunately it doesn't have a Wine AppDB entry yet. I actually re-installed Steam to see if there was a demo so I could test it myself (Steam itself runs perfectly in Linux, but there's no guarantee that its games will) but apparently there isn't.

NVIDIA cards have much better Linux drivers, though.

Exterminate all plant life. Only then will we be able to breath easy knowing that we're finally free of their menace.

It's an enemy from a game designed to help people learn Japanese.

This is a discussion forum, not a courtroom, so I'm not sure what purpose quoting a legal document is supposed to serve. We're arguing about what's right, not what's legal. Back to the main topic, in many cases the people who don't fit into the current form of society are the ones who's voices are most needed to be heard.…
