Heeheee....

I remember when I went to the Daibutsu in Japan, the squirrels and birds would both take food from you... it was amazing. My friend even put a peanut on his tongue and a bird picked it off.

Wow. See, this is the kind of thing that lends credence to evolution. The world is not a well-ordered system that follows a strict set of rules. Shit's crazy out there.

Give us an estimate on the damage. Are we looking at Great Depression #2?

Gods, that was hellish. I didn't have a laptop, so I actually unplugged my desktop and lugged it all into one of the side lounges so I would be away from distractions. I'm proud to say that I learned a great deal from that experience, though, and never again did I procrastinate so heavily as I did on that project.

Huh? No, I teach first year writing at Western Michigan University. Most of them are American freshmen.

It's okay, Blob. I had my students read this for Tuesday's class, and there were many who didn't realize he wasn't being serious. It's just part of the learning process, and makes that epiphany even funnier to all involved.

Are you being facetious and pretending not to get it, or do you not get it? I'm not sure...

Who, Swift?

I wonder how much he really knows... maybe we should make a thread about how to please women, or discussing the lost Greek playwrights, or some similar arcane knowledge.

It has also been supported by great thinkers and writers of the past. It works, guys. Seriously.

Hey, sweet! A game for the Wii that isn't trash! (presumably) I am happy.

Well. Boy howdy, Lauren, do I have a story for you. Ryan did indeed have a jackass random roommate freshman year. That jackass was me. After graduating high school, I realized that my current girlfriend wasn't right for me at all. I didn't want to take a bad relationship into college so I broke it off. A stroke of genius,…

Thank you for brightening my day, Exah.

I thought all the controllers were wireless. Also, do you buy a special Playstation 3 USB hub, or just a general USB hub? Regardless, you again have made me reevaluate. It doesn't really matter that much whether it has the extra USB ports or card readers... if I REALLY need them I can just get external attachments. So, the…

You make an excellent point, good sir. And you may even have swayed me. I suppose PS2s are going to be quite plentiful for many years to come, so in the event that my PS2 craps out, I'm sure I could easily get a new one. And the new PS3 comes with a year warranty. But I plan on getting Guitar Hero and Rock Band…

Update: I've read a different source that states something contrary to what I was previously told. Apparently the rumor of a software add-on that would allow PS2 backwards compatibility is false. Of course this could be false as well. But the man essentially stated that the PS3 just doesn't have the capacity to run PS2…

I called Gamestop to get a little extra info. I'll reserve a small amount of doubt just in case, but I found out some things. The new 80GB PS3, which is the only new system you can get, does not have backwards compatibility for PS2. It does, however, play PS1 games, regardless of model. (???) However, he said that though…
-
I would probably buy a PS2 though... I'd probably be able to find a newer PS2 that would survive longer. Of course, my current PS2 is just old, I haven't had any problems with it other than the A/V cable being a bit loose in the back. It might last me for quite a while.

Mummy....insects? Why would you even mummify an insect? Man, comics sucked back in the day... Also, note the 'Comics Code Authority'. That shit's fucked up.

Happy Birthday!! Just make sure you know your place....

I don't generally think of it that way going into it, but in hindsight my past relationships have been good practice. You learn things about yourself and others when you enter and leave relationships. And I that Carter's just looking at it very analytically.. it's obvious that he's not going to marry this girl, so he's…

Okay, I just got done grading the papers of college freshmen, so I have to do it. The earlier you understand these things, the better off you'll be, trust me. care to much = incorrect too calculated = correct 'To' and 'too' are different words, but they're spoken the same. These are called homonyms. There are many homonyms…

Yes, a spambot was removed.

EDIT: Ohhh burn!

Thus the reason I said, directly after that comment, "or some other planet..." FOOL!

It was cheese... and it was kinda expensive cheese. Gruyere, to be specific.
