It's funny how they mention Asimov's laws so directly... I remember someone on the forum, maybe Mario, stating very astutely that the laws were made so that there would be very interesting loopholes.

After a first-hand experience at work today, I can now say that I know for sure that I am glad I don't have one. Anyone looking forward to Wall-E? Protest the Hero is the best band ever. EVER. Well, they're good, anyway.
-
By auto fill-in do you mean the thing they've added on YouTube? I'm not sure if I like that so much...
-
Yeah I saw The Village, I think with Ryan, and we got a lot of laughs about the porcupine monster. This seems to be much much worse. Count me out, Mr. Shamayaamamalalalanan.

AIM has proven to me that new is not always better. I'm almost strictly about function with my computer, and I don't need much functioning power... as long as I can enter in addresses, have a bookmark toolbar, and navigate around, I'm happy. So I use Firefox 2.something, and I'm pretty happy with it. Though I do wonder if…

That was pretty sexy, dude. Very vivid prose. I do so love super-long sentences.
-
I miss World of Darkness AND D&D, though I think we have fonder moments of World of Darkness. I loved my Mage campaign and your Vampire campaign. Good times.
-
Wow, nice job on the Bulborb, Deku! I was looking at the picture thinking, "Pikmin anyone?" and then I looked at the name.
-
I knew there was a reason you're making so much money, smarty.
-
Sounds like World of Darkness. I like that system too, each has its strengths and weaknesses.
-
That seems really strange, dying from being tied to a tree overnight. There's gotta be something else.

Yeah, if you enjoy math, go for it, especially if you want to teach. Teaching rocks. And I think there's only two official English majors on here.. Bruce isn't technically an English major (I'm pretty sure), he's British, and thus innately knows as much about literature as an English-major American. EDIT: Oh, and I don't…
-
Well shite. I guess I know what I'm doing if teaching falls through.
-
Umm.. what do you do again? 35 dollars an hour sounds awesome.
-
Here's my story. I started out as an English major because I liked books. Then I realized that it's really hard to make money being an English major, so I switched to Biology. Then I realized that I loved English too much to pass it up, so I switched back. Near the end, I realized that teaching English was about all I…

I didn't get my name directly from the Dark Elf trilogy, I have always been a D&D fan and I thought illithids were a cool race.

It was a forum that existed before this one that a lot of the veterans here frequented. I think there was some kind of apocalypse there. As Serephel said, I've only heard whispers, filled with dread.
-
Well, you do indirectly... but not yet. Hopefully. I'd be curious to hear older girls' opinions, though.
-
Hmm... I suppose macroing would make it easier... but you should hear Serephel's story about a Chinese guy he knew...
-
What year are you?
-
Well, like I said, the supposed negative of it is that it reduces a male's stimulation during sex. So apparently if you're circumcised sex won't feel as good. Personally, I wouldn't want it to feel any better, it already feels good enough, and making it feel better would reduce longevity.
-
Well... I thought that whole thing was over... then, BAM!
-
Sweet.
-
Your curry is amazing, ser. Maybe when you come up for my wedding you can make some.
-
Srsly. Unless you want to be a teacher, then you're on a viable path.
-
Yep, welcome to the Belt. :D
-
Some vegetables must be cooked, others are best raw. I would not want to eat raw asparagus, but raw carrots are my favorite. And I agree with Serephel, peppers and onions are amazing. (Nevermind the fact that I only started thinking this way about a year ago). But we all know that cheese-in-a-can is the best healthy snack.…

Age is mostly irrelevant, though, it's really about your ability to roll with our discussions and contribute. At least that's how I see it... I'm somewhat of a newbie still compared to these other veterans.
-
I was mistaken, it's actually herpagonosyphilAIDS. Anyway, slight tangent off of genital mutilation, this is something that I've discussed with people occasionally and find to be a very interesting topic of discussion.. male genital mutilation, AKA circumcision. There are groups out there adamantly opposed to it, as they…

The grind? You mean semester after semester of papers? Well, I know that can be trying at times... but literature is awesome, and totally worth it!! Perhaps the limited job prospects aren't, but... oh well.
