I don't know about House of Leaves, but the first Discworld book is 'The Colour of Magic' and the second is 'The Light Fantastic'. Though, they're not really in strict chronological order.

I've only read 'Thud!', but I enjoyed it. You also might look for his collaboration with Neil Gaiman, 'Good Omens'. Also, House of Leaves. I haven't read it yet, but I've heard nothing but good things about it.
