It means that the Wii is not "burnable" garbage (which gets put out on a certain day) and shouldn't be sorted as such.

Eat small things, get bigger.

I enjoyed the videos, but seriously, Wind Waker is the only game to address the "Zelda timeline" issue at all, and it's pretty clear that it's a different Link. Previous to that, Nintendo didn't care at all about establishing a timeline. I expected to just LOL at the timeline speculation in the videos, but they did a…

Too bad it doesn't have a mic that you can yell 'sheeyaaaah' into. That is still the spin-attack yell, right? I haven't played the new Zelda.
-
If you're talking about BS Zelda, no, it was official. Just weird.
-
1) It's not from BS Zelda. BS Zelda used sort of generic modern-looking characters (like some kid in a baseball hat, that sort of thing.) 2) BS Zelda was an enhanced SNES remake of the Legend of Zelda available for download in Japan through Nintendo's Satellaview service.

I seriously just got it. How did I miss that?
-
Yeah, it's the "Nunchuk" which is awful in so many ways.

I couldn't afford a Wii, but I had another launch to attend to: I tried to pick up the Xbox Burger King games. Even though all the signs said today, the cashier said they wouldn't be in until tomorrow. I am crushed. :(

Ico is a great choice, and should be quite cheap too.
-
Yay! PoP is pretty good. Also it includes the original! Now, as per the thread topic, go pick up some music games (which is, of course, the best thing about having a popular console-- getting the weird niche games)! If you're on a budget, I suggest Technic Beat or Space Channel 5 SE. Then, Gitaroo-Man, Parappa, Lammy, Rez,…

Most SNES/Genesis games were $50, but high-capacity carts or carts with special chips in them cost more (like the Super FX games and Virtua Racing). Street Fighter II cost $80, and I totally jumped on it. It was worth it, but I wouldn't pay that now. Virtua Racing cost $90-$100, and Phantasy Star II cost about the same.…

High-five, X'o'Lore. You rightly called me on some BS. You weren't making a value judgment, and I saw that soon after posting. Your argument, that old PCs are still a viable platform because there's always someone making some homebrew freeware game for it, highlights one of the only things that is exceptional about PC…

It's true! The entire game is backwards. It might be kind of neat to play it once on the Wii and then once on the Cube.

Every PS3 is a PS3 bought by a rich dude with too much money.
-
Nice to know other people hate next-gen. Stef's got it right as far as I'm concerned-- I don't care about graphics (which wouldn't look that different on my tv anyway). I buy systems because they have games on them I'd want to play. If Metal Gear Solid 4 came out looking exactly like MGS3, on the PS2, I wouldn't be…
-
I'm not happy, but that's only because I want them all, even though a) all three suck in their own special ways (that I think outweigh the good qualities), and b) I am hell of broke Totally agree with you though.

If you eat enough of it, you won't die.

"One one" and "One two" are the names of race horses. Each has won one race.

, I WIN

Well, yeah, Night Lord, I wouldn't be so cruel as to include non-videogame stuff (like 100 years' worth of hanafuda cards), but in addition to all the multigame videogame systems (let's not forget the Famicom Disk System! Agentcel, you should get a Sharp Twin Famicom to play FDS games-- a friend of mine had one, and it's…
-
Right! Don't forget both models of the NES either! Or the Gamecube revision with different AV outs! Oh, and you gotta get a Panasonic Q!
-
And a couple of Pikachu handhelds. And a Game Boy Pocket. And a Japanese Game Boy Light.
-
Yep. Handheld systems are great like that. Back to Gyakuten Saiban 2!
-
...Huh. Okay, well, all you guys should go get PS2's now. They're a lot cheaper than Wiis, easier to find, and you'll have more fun playing all the cheap games you've missed out on.
-
Do you not have a PS2?
-
According to the game, it's also for abdomens.
-
The ONLY thing I remember about the CGA Life and Death game was the AWESOME PC-speaker scream the patient would make when, uh, you cut into him without anesthetic.
-
Okay, I just walked in, so what's the deal? Is it just "make a sprite comic based on a fighting game?" Or is there more I should know?
-
This is your first time, right? I wish I could experience Zelda for the first time (again)!
