  • Yes, Jake, I take personal credit for running this couple out of their apartment WITH 60 POUNDS OF AWESOME. All we get in this stupid apartment is a leaky roof, dammit.
  • Sports-formula jellybeans. My school is so close to the Jelly Belly plant that this was fairly inevitable. No word on whether these beans outperform Kool Aid, which is supposed to work as well as Gatorade.
  • A two-car pileup. It doesn't show in the scan, but the shading makes the cars look really crappy in real life. Guess I have to work on line/shading quality when drawing mechanical things. This next one is called: "Now Flavored With Meat!", as assigned by Jason. I got it done within the time limits, and had fun drawing the…
  • Admittedly, I haven't had any ideas since we last spoke.
  • There already is a 4science guild, unless they erased it. Jon is the guildmaster.

  • I'm really disturbed by the pinecone man. His mere existence is far more harrowing than whatever weird shimmy Santa is attempting.
  • That was really constructive. Did you even go to his site, Blunderbore? Agentcel, I really like the look of your new site. Is most of your site content going to be drawings, or do you have other things planned?
  • Hey, I moved this part of the thread because it was more of a tech support issue. Mario and I have been talking about this, and we're not comfortable changing the titles of all of the threads here. We try to keep the forum open for free expression (within certain bounds). Enforcing a PG rating would put a big burden on the…
  • The other one is definitely, definitely yarn. Yarn's dangerously addictive.
  • Man, just when I finish my classes and can actually participate-- I have to sit this one out because I have never played a SNES game and wouldn't know where to start with the sprites. Sigh. There's always #9, eh?
  • Happy birthday, Behemoth.
  • I'm going to suggest not going through with this 4-chan challenge. I will swiftly and permanently ban anyone who posts an image on this site that even suggests child porn or bestiality. Since we have members under 18, even the most hilariously bad tentacle porn is not exactly appropriate material, either. I'm not sure what…
  • Hey, I'm totally OK with it. I got some coffee out of the deal, PLUS I got to make the Wawa Deli Girl Mii and bowl with her. That's about as good as video game adventures get for me.
  • I didn't take a picture. I was 18, and I didn't have a computer much less a digital camera.
  • Dude, I totally did that on the inside of a sliding closet at a dorm in Moore College of Art and Design. You could only see it if you took a flashlight inside the closet and shut the door on yourself.
  • Wait, whoah. Nuh-uh. I'm almost caught up, enjoying the story, and you just call the thing off? No way. Back to the writing desk. *cracks whip* All of my selfish disappointment aside, I know it defeats the zeitgeist of NaNoWriMo, but you should continue your novel! Perhaps not in daily chunks-- but from here on out, make a…
  • Hey, I'm pissed too. Obsolescence sucks. There is no reason in hell that good games can't be made on all of the old systems, including and especially the GBA. I don't need better graphics, I want clever new games.
  • Oh, I see. Yeah, the 6:35 forum was Forum 4 before THE GREAT FORUM ERASE OF AUGHT-SIX. After we put the forums back, the sixthirtyfive forum had a new number, and I never updated the link on the 6:35 site. Weird that it told you that you were banned, though.

  • Yeah. What do you mean, it 'appeared'?

  • I think it was to prove that there is, in fact, a sign up email verification required. For the record, we fixed the thing wherein a new member has to post a number of times before making a thread. We've had a bunch of spammers sign up since then, but none has been able to make a new thread.
  • Yeah, my entry was going to be Punch-Out too if I found some time to enter this week, but it really wasn't going to be funnier than that one. EDIT: Hlavco's entry didn't load for me at first. That's also really funny. For reasons I can't quantify, the elephants really make that comic for me.
  • Wow, Lore, that was awesome.
  • ...Do you knit? The book's not out in stores yet, and won't be until sometime next year. But SnB books have been getting a pretty decent release, so you'd be able to find it on Amazon, at Borders or Barnes & Noble, and likely at your local Michael's, Jo-Ann Fabrics, or Beverly's as well as specialty yarn stores. Plus, the…
  • Thank you, gentlemen, but the truth of the matter is that I spend all day reading about any array imaginable. Engineering grad students are not nearly as rad as Jeff's NaNoWriMo novel makes them sound. Re. the knitting pattern, I found out that it will be published in the upcoming Stitch and Bitch Men's Patterns book! Eee!…
  • My page sucks. I'll get on that. How've you been? I haven't seen you around in a while! Also: Leesh, I actually thought of your dad when I was writing this, mostly because he is the only dentist I'm acquainted with and he totally would NOT tell bacteria horror stories. For the record, the kid was not actually dressed as a…

  • Well, at this precise second-- not so hot. Our ceiling leaked, and then I submitted a sweater design for a book, and then a cat puked, and one of my lab machine's power supplies died, and then it was like 10:00 and I hadn't done any work today.
  • Micro-machines. It stands for Micro Mechanical Electrical Systems. Just like the real thing, only smaller. EDIT: Also, I'm sorry for hijacking your thread. There are horrible puns here now.
