edited July 2023 in For SCIENCE
You might go so far as to say that the Moon "eclipsed" the Sun!

Well, this is the first thing I noticed...

  • I can't believe this keeps happening.
  • Woah. I didn't realize this was an old thread at first. I didn't get to see much this last time though. Stupid clouds.

It came out as another partial eclipse in my neck of the woods, and we had a lot of clouds obscuring it initially, but I was able to get decent phone photos eventually (including some through eclipse glasses).

  • I live along the path of totality. it was kinda awesome.
  • There's one happening in... 2021 or 2024 that I'm supposed to be fairly close to the path of totality for.

During this latest one, we were close enough to the path that everyone wanted to go outside and watch, but far enough away that it ended up being nothing special.
  • Already making plans to actually trek out to totality for the next one. Orange Belt meet-up April 8th, 2024?
