Cleaning house: a call to arms for missing brew panels

edited February 2013 in Witch's Brew
Hey brewinites! As you may have seen, we've rebooted Witch's Brew with a brand new high-res retina-ready image size of 800x500 pixels!

This means all old brews in progress are decidedly old-fashioned.

Now, we love all brews everywhere, regardless of shape, size, or amount of Walter being on fire (though the amount should generally be: a lot on fire). But these old, tiny brews have been sitting unfinished for far too long. We say no more!

This is a final plea to send any panels you might have from any unfinished brews in which you have participated. Between Geoff, Paul and myself, we've gathered together everything we could find, but what with some images being forever lost as attachments in old POP mail accounts (seriously Geoff? POP???), there are a few gaps in the archives.

If we can complete our sequences for any of the brews in our collections, we'll publish them as new, finished comics for all to enjoy! If we can't, however, well... we're hoping it doesn't come to that.

Incidentally, this does include massbrew, which sadly will probably not ever reach the 100 panel goal I had set all those many years ago. It will be published as a regular ol' brew, but from what I've seen it'll still be entertaining.

Good luck, brewtlemen!

*It should be noted that the names of the panel creators are not included for shaming purposes, but as a hopefully helpful reference to track them down. There is a very strong chance that the computers some of these panels were created on no longer exist, their hard drives slowly deteriorating in the midday heat of a blazing, unforgiving sun casting its deadly rays upon a hapless landfill in the Arizona desert. My suspicion is that these panels will be found in someone's email archives, hidden away in the Sent box (or Gmail's Infinity Trash) to be eventually discovered by one of our talented brewchaeologists (you guys). The names (and email addresses, if you check brewlist) may help you track down the original messages containing these very attachments. No shaming, only finding!

I'm having trouble piecing together the order that 2008.01.19 was done in. On my computer I have panels that I drew, labeled 3, 6, 7, 10, 13, and 16. But your estimate has me doing 1, 4, and 5... which would mean I made five panels in a row somehow. I think something in our numbering got thrown off somewhere along the way.

Maybe my '3' and '6' are actually '1' and '4'? That would fall in line with a three-person brew.

I've had computer problems since 2008, so I'm not sure I'll be able to find those panels I made. I'll do my best to find them, though.

EDIT: I know for a fact I sent them out though. My email didn't save the outgoing messages though. So, Geoff probably has them,. Or the brewmasta email if that's what was being used at the time.

Sadly, the old brew email, and all its server-side contents, no longer exists. It's all gonna come down to whoever has it saved on their own email accounts.

I think 2008.01.19 started as Steven and Jeff, and I jumped in later, so my estimate may be somewhat off. It's possible it was Jeff for 1, Steven for 2-3, Jeff for 4-5, Steven for 6-7, Jeff did 8, then I came in with 9 and we did the traditional one panel per person. I'll adjust the summary post accordingly.
