I missed this game the first time round and just got ahold of the HD version earlier this week.

Gotta say, I am loving some brutally-hard-random-level-generating-adventuring shenanigans.

It has usurped Rogue Legacy as the game that is getting the most attention.

    I liked this game, if only because I grew up playing Spelunker. Man, that game is nuts.

    I have the original 1.1 version of Spelunky. I was just playing it earlier today. I had a potentially good run going at one point but then I pissed off a shopkeeper and got shotgunned.

    I still have more fondness for nethack. Nothing will ever compete with my nethack barbarian resorting to eating trolls to keep them from reviving. I suspect he developed an odd fear of being attacked by bite-covered trolls by the time I got through all that.
