My Steam ID is Hlavco. Tricky, I know.

I guess the chair didn't increase my output at all. These eevees are all between several months and a couple years old. Probably gonna color a few of them at some point, now that they're scanned in.

Looks cool. I kinda liked the voices in this old fan thing better though: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=_UJFw2aXYE4

Zach Braff and Donald Faison perform a duet of "Somewhere Out There"

https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=_Lyi2RSVxqg New Pokemon anime goes old school. And no Ashes or Pikachus in sight!
-
Why do you have to judge a Rock Band contest? The score is right there in the corner of the screen.
-
If I don't like what's going on in the new games, I'll probably do what I always do and import a bunch of Generation I pokemon instead. Old pokemon, new features. It's perfect!
-
Whoops, they mega-evolved the wrong pokemon.
-
I mostly stick to Homestuck (and catch up on Prequel between updates). Occasionally I'll visit Manly Guys Doing Manly Things or Super Effective to catch up on the archives.
-
I've mostly migrated to MSN, but still log into AIM a few times a week. Once Microsoft kills MSN I'll probably be back to AIM, but they've been saying they were gonna do it for about a year now and I'm still able to log in just fine. I dunno with those guys.

So, uh... Pokemon just went all Digimon on us. Also a somewhat out-of-place-looking rabbit, and the requisite pika-clone. I dunno guys, this is startin' to get weird.

SMF has always been my favorite forum software. It's free, and the read/unread works a lot better than vBulletin in that I don't have to manually mark the forum as 'read' after I've finished reading it. It has a quick reply feature and can use multiple themes (though the theme-changer dropdown in the footer is an…

I've always liked the "message boards for up-and-coming webcomics" theme, but five years ago every person on the planet was working on a webcomic and it seems that isn't the case anymore. I wonder why not? I like seeing people do art. Anyway, as long as the forum's here I'll keep visiting it. I tend to avoid social media…

What EarthBound means to its creator, Shigesato Itoi. I love the stuff this guy says. Everything he writes just has a certain charm to it. For example, this email he sent to his employees one February 29th:

A beverage company recently conducted a nationwide "honesty test" by placing unmanned kiosks all over the country, packed with bottles of tea and requesting that people use the honor system to leave $1 for every drink they took. The nationwide average was 92% of people paying, and the worst state was New York at 91%. Every…

Happy birthday! Have some raccoons and cats.

Nintendo surprise-released EarthBound on Virtual Console this morning. You all need to get on your Wii Us that you definitely own and download it right now. It might just be the best ten bucks you've ever spent. Also, in an extra bit of awesomeness, Nintendo posted the entire player's guide in digital form on their website.

I bought a new computer chair. Now I can draw things without causing myself bodily harm. Perhaps this will increase my output!

69 was the threshold for the prize, I believe. I got a crappy score first try because I didn't know you could go on all fours to gain speed.
-
I played it and apparently they were giving prizes to anyone who finished under 70 seconds, but I did it after they had already run out of prizes.
-
Nah, no real joke. I just thought it sounded silly.
-
I was having an art drought so I asked tumblr for ideas. Somebody suggested Eevee and Pichu engaging in a battle. A rap battle. Despite (due to?) the sloppiness, I'm happy with how this came out.
-
Yeah, because if a panel goes more than a few hours without being done, it never happens. Case in point: the panel I was supposed to do several months ago.
-
Don't worry, there's some quality non-Caliborn once you get past the Caliborn.
-
Hiatus ended a couple days ago. Here's where it picks up.

It's an annual thing. Those are just the oddest titles of 2012.

Tea cozies and pencil sharpening vie for oddest book title award

The first time we rented it, it was stuck on Diamond Sands and the rest of the levels had been pretty much cleared out. We got through that level eventually, but it was rough.
-
We rented it a few times, and played it at various states of completion (for some reason we couldn't figure out how to start a new game so we just continued where the last person left off). Fun times though. It's great when a video game can be fun completely out of context. That's also how I got into SimCity. Played it at…

Speaking of giant eevees, the things seem to follow me around. They have come up in lots of unrelated IM conversations with lots of unrelated people in the past, and almost every time the conclusion has been, "that's a silly idea, I should draw that sometime". By this point I probably owe the world at least four or five…
