  • Heaven is for sheep.
  • Liars go to Heaven if they die on Opposite Day.
  • Yes, but how does market share increase before big-name software gets released for Linux? "Zlamzambo asking about what the deal is with Linux" is not a satisfactory response. Mac OS X and Linux may share similar market share, but their situations couldn't really be any different. Linux never established itself as an…
  • I'm not trying to say that Linux is inferior to Windows. But compatibility issues are the reason that Linux will probably never catch on as a consumer-level desktop operating system replacement for Windows. Well, that and the snail's pace of open source software development. And crappy GUIs. Tux is cool though.
  • Sounds cruel to me. I like it.
  • Oh come now. You can't say that Linux is totally better than Windows, if only it could run Windows stuff. Clearly you still have a need and dependency on Windows if you need to run its executables. I have to wonder what percentage of average Windows users could seriously quit Windows cold turkey for Linux.
  • People that spell his name "Honkydory" are themselves named "Honkydory".
  • Lieutenant Holindays brutally murders people that spell his name "Hollandaise".
  • Nobody NEEDS Linux (except Hamelin of course; weep for him). As has been mentioned before, if you have no reason to use Linux, then don't. It's a great OS, but mostly exists as an alternative to Windows. If enough things about Windows annoy you, maybe you could consider a dual-boot solution, but switching OSes is a massive…
  • Your kite's in that tree over there.

  • The union between two consenting adults? Hmm...
  • I tried to catch some chloroplasts, but they kept breaking out of the Ultra Balls.
  • Most people's solutions to Pichu's crappy stats involve this crazy newfangled "evolution" concept.
  • Hahaha, still the best Engrish ever.
  • EV training? Bo-oring! True Pokémon training comes from the heart!
  • Looks cluttered. Also, that picture really highlights how massive the 360 is; it looks like it could fall over and crush all the others.
  • Nah, when I was working at a daycare center, most of the kids behaved similarly. They had an insanely strong Charizard, a surprisingly high-level Pidgey, and pretty much didn't carry anyone else. Personally, I won't even move onto a new area until my team has all leveled up evenly.
  • Bruce! Send your panel to the next person in the list! Everyone else! Berate Bruce!
  • Ah yes, that was the one. Kind of a spiritual successor to Barcode Battler, in terms of the monster-generation.
  • We tried to organize Maple Story games back on Inksandwich, but I didn't play frequently enough and quickly fell behind my friends' progression. Also, other players were complete asshole, always stealing my kills and keeping me from leveling up, so I quickly tired of the play environment. I was not aware of the trading…
  • I seem to recall Digimon coming into its own on the PS1. Didn't the early games have the ability to generate monsters from audio CDs? I thought that was a neat gimmick.
  • Haha, Inkie is a great title. I don't think we've come up with anything good for The Orange Belt, though I've probably said "Orange Beltians" a few times. Mostly I just collectively call us "forumites". Seems to work well for both communities, especially since there's little need to differentiate us from a community that…
  • Majora's Mask's side stories had a few bittersweet endings (it should go without saying that a post mentioning the end of Majora's Mask might contain spoilers). Anju and Kafei may have gotten married, but Kafei stayed in child form. I recall that being a rather striking moment in a video game, where not everything was…
  • Yeah, Noobity is Inksandwich alumnus.
  • Goddamnit, now I'm gonna pick up both Tactics Advance and Pokémon Diamond. I actually like the older Pokémon titles more, but Diamond has online play, so it's like, play a game that's awesome but designed for multiplayer only you never get to play with anyone, or play a game that's not quite as awesome but you have access…
  • Well yeah, I enjoyed making it, but I recognize that it's also just plain wrong.
  • But you could look up the laws for any destination on the map! It was extremely rare for me to be caught unawares on a bad law day, since you can see what the laws will be when you arrive on any section in the overworld and plan accordingly. I should probably point out that I never played the original Tactics. Apparently…
